As some of you may know, six students from UBC came to the Searanch to do a study on our tree fruit history as part of the Land, Food, and Community II course.
From the UBC students:
“First of all we would like to extend a most sincere thank you to the Gambier Island Sea Ranch community for inviting us into your little piece of paradise for the day to explore and learn, and to our wonderful hosts for the day, Rosalie Boulter and David Darvill, as well as all of the people we met along the way that day. And to our community contact Rosalie Boulter for coming up with the idea for this project and helping us along the way – thank you for all of your patience and guidance.”
